Our Founders
Pastor Richard Nickerson
In December of 1995 Pastor Richard Nickerson gave his life to Christ and was filled with the spirit of God. Answering the call of God would forever change his life and lead him on the path to fulfill God’s purpose. After over 20 years of faithful service in various capacity of Ministry he and his wife Christy Nickerson founded Abundant life ministries in their home in Streetsboro in July of 2012.
Pastor Nickerson has a powerful yet practical preaching and teaching anointing on his life. He is passionate about seeing Gods people walk in and fulfil their purpose in Christ. Pastor Nickerson hold a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Berean Bible College and a BA in Mass communications from Wilberforce University. Professionally he has worked in the financial services industry for over 16 years in various role of Management.
His vision is to build a ministry that is Christ centered, family focused and community conscious. Pastor Nickerson has a passion for seeing people encourage d and spiritually uplifted. Believing that it’s only through a committed life of faithfulness to God that we can know our true purpose and receive the abundance that God has promised.
Prophetess Christy Nickerson
Prophetess Christy Nickerson was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. An unlikely messenger, God has chosen her to walk in prophetic anointing to preach and teach a timely message for such a time as this. Ordained as an Evangelist in1998, Prophetess Christy has been preaching and teaching the Word in various capacities. Christy Nickerson has served as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, Holy Ground Woman of Prayer, Director of Singles Ministries and Director of Christian Education. With a passion and a heart for people everywhere, she is a true woman of God who enjoys traveling and preaching the word of God. In pursuit of more knowledge of the Word, Evangelist Nickerson received a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Berean Bible College in 2009. God has truly intertwined her spiritual and natural life by allowing her to serve as an educator for 16 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology Education and a Master’s of Educational Administration. She is currently the Principal of the New Tech
East High School in Cleveland, Ohio. God has truly enabled and empowered Prophetess Nickerson to reach the next generation through the life changing power of his Word. She is happily married to Pastor Richard Nickerson since 1999. God has favored this union with two sons Richard IV, Joshua Caleb and one daughter, Zoe Nicole.
